Ohio Valley Wrestling
Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) is an independent regional promotion that at various points served as a developmental territory for WWE and (currently) TNA.
Like the national companies, OVW also has established a Triple Crown. Their version consists of the OVW Heavyweight Championship, the OVW Television Championship and the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship.
Current OVW wrestlers who are one title away from the Triple Crown include:
- Mohamad Ali Vaez, Paradyse, Rocco Bellagio, Ted McNaler, Adam Revolver, Shiloh Jonze, Chris Silvio and Alex Silva require the Heavyweight Championship
- Johnny Spade, Crimson and Nick Dinsmore require the Television Championship.

Famous quotes containing the words ohio, valley and/or wrestling:
“This fair homestead has fallen to us, and how little have we done to improve it, how little have we cleared and hedged and ditched! We are too inclined to go hence to a better land, without lifting a finger, as our farmers are moving to the Ohio soil; but would it not be more heroic and faithful to till and redeem this New England soil of the world?”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“All the Valley quivered one extended motion, wind
undulating on mossy hills”
—Allen Ginsberg (b. 1926)
“There are people who think that wrestling is an ignoble sport. Wrestling is not sport, it is a spectacle, and it is no more ignoble to attend a wrestled performance of suffering than a performance of the sorrows of Arnolphe or Andromaque.”
—Roland Barthes (19151980)
