Westfield Carousel

Westfield Carousel is a major shopping centre, owned by the Westfield Group and located in Cannington, a suburb of Perth. It is located approximately 12 kilometres from Perth on the Albany Highway, and approximately 600 metres from Cannington Train Station. Since its redevelopment in 1999, it has been the largest shopping centre in Western Australia. Westfield Carousel Pty Ltd also owns the Innaloo Mega Centre (Shopping Centre) which contains a Progressive Supa IGA. Innaloo Progressive Supa IGA is known to be the largest Supermarket in Australia/New Zealand.


The centre also has the second highest Moving Annual Turnover (MAT) of any centre in Western Australia with a turnover of A$483.7 million in the year 2007. Garden City has the highest MAT in Western Australia with A$569.8 million passing through the centre in 2007. Westfield Whitford City sits at third place in the state. It is also one of the busiest centres in the state. Garden City is the busiest with 13 million people annually passing through the centre. Westfield Carousel sees 9.8 million passing through its doors in a year making it the second busiest centre in the state.
