Famous quotes containing the words waldo and/or salt:

Beside all the small reasons we assign, there is a great reason for the existence of every extant fact; a reason which lies grand and immovable, often unsuspected behind it in silence.
    —Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

These o protect from step Dames injury.
And if chance to thine eyes shall bring this verse,

And kiss this paper for thy loves dear sake,
Who with salt tears this last Farewel did take.
    Anne Bradstreet (c. 1612–1672)
