Strijen

Strijen (population: 9,312 in 2004) is a town and municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. The municipality, covering an area of 57.72 km² (of which 6.50 km² is water), is located on the Hoeksche Waard island along the Hollands Diep estuary.
