Business Interests
Noades owns several golf courses in the South-East of England. Known as the Altonwood Group, it includes Surrey National Golf Club (formerly Happy Valley), Westerham Golf Club, The Addington Golf Club, Woldingham Golf Club (formerly Dukes Dene) and Godstone Golf Club. Godstone Golf Club is built on the site of Streete Court School, which closed down in 1993 two years prior to Noades buying it. It was initially used as Crystal Palace's training ground until he sold the club and Simon Jordan stopped paying the rent. It was then that it was turned into a full size nine hole course. The Addington Golf Club was once used as a qualifying course for the British Open and is of particular repute in the golfing world.

Famous quotes containing the words business and/or interests:
“I must create a system or be enslaved by another mans;
I will not reason and compare: my business is to create.”
—William Blake (17571827)
“Consider any individual at any period of his life, and you will always find him preoccupied with fresh plans to increase his comfort. Do not talk to him about the interests and rights of the human race; that little private business of his for the moment absorbs all his thoughts, and he hopes that public disturbances can be put off to some other time.”
—Alexis de Tocqueville (18051859)
