The archives feature in the first National Treasure film, in which treasure hunters attempt to steal the Declaration of Independence. A post-apocalyptic version of the archives is featured in Fallout 3, visited in a mission where the player must retrieve the Declaration of Independence, the Magna Carta and the Bill of Rights.
