Johnson Family

The Johnsons are a family living in the town of Salem on the NBC soap opera Days of our Lives. The Johnsons began as a lower class family, in the last two decades the family has lifted itself up and become contributing members of Salem society. Although they were a major family in the late 1980s, for more than a decade the family was solely represented on the show by Jack Deveraux. Within the last year, however, many members of the family have returned while Jack, the primary Johnson, has left. As of 2011, however, things are starting to return to the status quo, as Jack returned to the series in September, while Steve, Kayla and Stephanie have all departed once again.
