Outline
Valérian and Laureline are staying in one of the tourist paradises of the cosmos. But it is not sure that they are having as much fun as that in their luxury hotel attended by, sometimes odious, billionaires like the great Caliph of Iskaladam, accompanied by his harem and son Caliphon.
To tell the truth, their boredom will be of short duration. The horrible Mortis Quartet seize the Caliphon... and Laureline!
A pursuit begins on the prohibited borders of the Caliphate, where live the poor wretches who extract the ultralum, ultra-luminous fuel needed for space vessels.
On the way, they will encounter Point Central, the fabulous galactic United Nations; a schniarfeur seized with a glandular limiter; a Grumpy Converter from Bluxte and the Shingouz spies ready to sell anything to anyone.

Famous quotes containing the word outline:
“The outline of the city became frantic in its effort to explain something that defied meaning. Power seemed to have outgrown its servitude and to have asserted its freedom. The cylinder had exploded, and thrown great masses of stone and steam against the sky.”
—Henry Brooks Adams (18381918)
“It is the business of thought to define things, to find the boundaries; thought, indeed, is a ceaseless process of definition. It is the business of Art to give things shape. Anyone who takes no delight in the firm outline of an object, or in its essential character, has no artistic sense.... He cannot even be nourished by Art. Like Ephraim, he feeds upon the East wind, which has no boundaries.”
—Vance Palmer (18851959)
“A true poem is distinguished not so much by a felicitous expression, or any thought it suggests, as by the atmosphere which surrounds it. Most have beauty of outline merely, and are striking as the form and bearing of a stranger; but true verses come toward us indistinctly, as the very breath of all friendliness, and envelop us in their spirit and fragrance.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
