I realize that, as a student of Frederica Academy under the Honor System, my honor shall be respected. I acknowledge that it is my obligation to be truthful, fair, and honest in all my actions. It shall, therefore, be my aim to achieve a high standard of character worthy of the respect I shall receive. To be honorable, not only in the classroom, but also in all relations with my fellow students and teachers, shall be my constant effort.May God keep me steadfast in purpose.

As a student attending Frederica Academy, one must abide by the Honor Code. If a violation of the Honor Code is presented, the situation will be dealt with by the Honor Council (A group of peers and teachers who assist in deciding the outcome of the predicament) Soccer rocks

Famous quotes containing the words honor and/or code:

    But why should honor outlive honesty?
    Let it all go.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

    Wise Draco comes, deep in the midnight roll
    Of black artillery; he comes, though late;
    In code corroborating Calvin’s creed
    And cynic tyrannies of honest kings;
    He comes, nor parlies; and the Town, redeemed,
    Gives thanks devout; nor, being thankful, heeds
    The grimy slur on the Republic’s faith implied,
    Which holds that Man is naturally good,
    And—more—is Nature’s Roman, never to be
    scourged.
    Herman Melville (1819–1891)
