Systems for multiple simultaneous players were introduced into UK schools in 2007 by Cyber coach. Such systems can connect up to 64 dance pads at any one time without wires. The systems have been incorporated into school lessons as well as for extra curricular use. The major advantage of these systems is that they appeal to those not normally inclined towards exercise. In this way, these systems are seen as a valuable tool in combating childhood obesity.
