Famous quotes containing the words fishing and/or communities:

“Fly fishing may be a very pleasant amusement; but angling or float fishing I can only compare to a stick and a string, with a worm at one end and a fool at the other.”
    —Samuel Johnson (1709–1784)

“I am convinced, that if all men were to live as simply as I then did, thieving and robbery would be unknown. These take place only in communities where some have got more than is sufficient while others have not enough.”
    —Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
