Famous quotes containing the words space, aggressor and/or squadron:
“But alas! I never could keep a promise. I do not blame myself for this weakness, because the fault must lie in my physical organization. It is likely that such a very liberal amount of space was given to the organ which enables me to make promises, that the organ which should enable me to keep them was crowded out. But I grieve not. I like no half-way things. I had rather have one faculty nobly developed than two faculties of mere ordinary capacity.”
—Mark Twain [Samuel Langhorne Clemens] (18351910)
“Never assume one child is always the victim and the other the aggressor. Remember, no matter how things appear, it takes two to tango. If you look closely enough ... you will see how the victim subtly provokes the aggressor into attacking.”
—Ron Taffel (20th century)
“Well gentlemen, this is it. This is what weve been waiting for. Tonight your target is Tokyo. And youre gonna play em the Star Spangled Banner with two-ton bombs. All youve got to do is to remember what youve learned and follow your squadron leaders. Theyll get you in, and theyll get you out. Any questions? All right thats all. Good luck to you. Give em hell.”
—Dudley Nichols (18951960)
