The 2006 Texas Tech Red Raiders football team represented Texas Tech University in the 2006 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by Mike Leach. The Red Raiders played their home games at Jones SBC Stadium in Lubbock, Texas.
The football team competes in the Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), formerly I-A.
