The 1982 Tour de France was the 69th Tour de France, taking place July 2 to July 25, 1982. The total race distance was 22 stages over 2179 miles (3507 km), with riders averaging 23.649 mph (38.059 km/h). It was won by Bernard Hinault, his fourth victory so far.
