Voice For Life Today
Age and death have thinned the ranks to a national membership of 30,000 (as at September, 2003).
In 2004, the SPUC executive voted to change their name to "Voice for Life" so that they could speak out against euthanasia, research using embryonic stem cells, and cloning.
In recent years, new youth-orientated pro-life groups have emerged. Their focus is on university campuses and social networking using Facebook.
Voice for Life collaborates youth-based pro-life groups on workshops and outreaches. The new emphasis is disseminating online information through the their website and social networking.
The current President of Voice for Life is Bernard Moran.

Famous quotes containing the words voice, life and/or today:
“Lap me in soft Lydian airs,
Married to immortal verse,
Such as the meeting soul may pierce
In notes with many a winding bout
Of linked sweetness long drawn out,
With wanton heed and giddy cunning,
The melting voice through mazes running,
Untwisting all the chains that tie
The hidden soul of harmony;”
—John Milton (16081674)
“Kitterings brain. What we will he think when he resumes life in that body? Will he thank us for giving him a new lease on life? Or will he object to finding his ego living in that human junk heap?”
—W. Scott Darling. Erle C. Kenton. Dr. Frankenstein (Sir Cedric Hardwicke)
“The East is the hearthside of America. Like any home, therefore, it has the defects of its virtues. Because it is a long-lived-in house, it bursts its seams, is inconvenient, needs constant refurbishing. And some of the family resources have been spent. To attain the privacy that grown-up people find so desirable, Easterners live a harder life than people elsewhere. Today it is we and not the frontiersman who must be rugged to survive.”
—Phyllis McGinley (19051978)
