Dream Chaser - Program Objectives

Program Objectives

The primary Dream Chaser Space System mission is to provide NASA with a safe, reliable commercially-operated transportation service for crew and cargo to the ISS and back to Earth. Future Dream Chaser missions potentially include delivering crew and cargo to other orbiting facilities, or functioning as a short term independent orbiting laboratory for other government agencies or commercial entities as well as potential orbital space tourism.

Famous quotes containing the words program and/or objectives:

“Why visit the playhouse to see the famous Parisian models, ... when one can see the French damsels, Norma and Diana? Their names have been known on both continents, because everything goes as it will, and those that cannot be satisfied with these must surely be of a queer nature.”
—For the City of New Orleans, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)

Along the journey we commonly forget its goal. Almost every vocation is chosen and entered upon as a means to a purpose but is ultimately continued as a final purpose in itself. Forgetting our objectives is the most frequent stupidity in which we indulge ourselves.
    Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900)
