Research
Yuwen Zhang's research interests are in the areas of thermal/fluid sciences, advanced materials processing, phase change heat transfer and heat pipes, inverse heat transfer problems, ultrafast ultra-intense laser materials processing, heat transfer in energy systems, and micro- and nanoscale heat transfer. He has published three books, three book chapters, over 160 journal papers and more than 120 conference papers.
