Currently there are more than 2,210 students at White Station: 43% are African American, 46% are Caucasian, 6.1% are Asian or Pacific islander, and 2.9% are Hispanic. The graduation rate hovers around 85%.
There are 20.7 students/teacher. White Station High School in 2008 had the most National Merit Scholarship semifinalists of any school in the state of Tennessee for the class of 2009. White Station had a total of 52 students recognized in the National Merit Program.
In the 2011-2012 school year, White Station had 22 National Merit Semifinalists, more than any other school, public, private, or charter, in the state of Tennessee. In the 2012-2013 school year, White Station announced 23 National Merit Semifinalists.
