The station, founded in 1966, broadcasts to the greater Mobile metropolitan area and Pensacola, Florida. The station is owned and operated by Cumulus Media. The WLVM broadcast license is held by Cumulus Licensing, LLC. The station had a construction permit from the Federal Communications Commission to change its community of license from Atmore, Alabama to Saraland, Alabama.
