TRL Awards (Italy)

The TRL Awards were established in 2006 by MTV Italy to celebrate the most popular artists and music videos in Italy. Originally beginning as an annual event to celebrate the most request videos and artists on Total Request Live, the TRL Awards is today a celebration of what MTV italian viewers consider the best in music, cinema and fashion.

The TRL Awards changed its host city every year, but they're been always hosted in an italian city. It has been hosted in Milan and Florence twice.

The awards were presented annually and broadcast live on MTV Italy, as well as online. In 2013 the show was replaced by the MTV Awards.
