Famous quotes containing the words test and/or set:

The final test of a novel will be our affection for it, as it is the test of our friends, and of anything else which we cannot define.
    —E.M. (Edward Morgan)

In time ideas can be thought of as sprouting, growing, maturing, bringing forth seed and dying like plants.
    John Dos Passos (1896–1970)
