A street market is an outdoor market such as traditionally held in a market square or in a market town, and often held only on particular days of the week. Very similar markets, or bazaars, can also be found in large enclosed spaces, instead of on a street.
Famous quotes containing the words street and/or market:
“There was an Old Man who supposed,
That the street door was partially closed;”
—Edward Lear (18121888)
“The only reason to invest in the market is because you think you know something others dont.”
—R. Foster Winans (b. 1948)
