Awards and Certifications
The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching awarded its Community Engagement classification to Stetson in 2008. For the past three consecutive years, Stetson has been named by the Corporation for National and Community Service to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll With Distinction for exemplary service initiatives. Stetson also works with the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Partnership Foundation on the CASE (Carter Academic Service Entrepreneur) program and other JRCPF initiatives, and partners with JRCPF and the W.K.Kellogg Foundation on a service-based scholarship program. In 2009, Stetson introduced a Certificate of Community Engagement program for undergraduates.
