Sonic Shuffle - Development

Development

The game was first announced under the working title of Sonic Square in the June 2000 issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly. While the previous month's issue teased a reveal of the game Sonic Adventure 2, at the last minute Sega of America deemed it too early to unveil the game, and instead allowed the magazine to do an article on the previously unannounced Sonic Square.

Famous quotes containing the word development:

    Sleep hath its own world,
And a wide realm of wild reality.
And dreams in their development have breath,
And tears, and tortures, and the touch of joy.
    George Gordon Noel Byron (1788–1824)

If you complain of people being shot down in the streets, of the absence of communication or social responsibility, of the rise of everyday violence which people have become accustomed to, and the dehumanization of feelings, then the ultimate development on an organized social level is the concentration camp.... The concentration camp is the final expression of human separateness and its ultimate consequence. It is organized abandonment.
    Arthur Miller (b. 1915)

Every new development for the last three centuries has brought men closer to a state of affairs in which absolutely nothing would be recognized in the whole world as possessing a claim to obedience except the authority of the State. The majority of people in Europe obey nothing else.
    Simone Weil (1909–1943)
