Famous quotes containing the words developing and/or nations:

Child-centeredness does not mean lack of rigor or standards; it does mean finding the best match between curricula and children’s developing interests and abilities.
    David Elkind (20th century)

The best nations are those most widely related; and navigation, as effecting a world-wide mixture, is the most potent advancer of nations.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
