Shepperton is an English town or village in the borough of Spelthorne, Surrey which was in the former historic county of Middlesex, centred 17.5 miles (28.2 km) south west of London, bounded by the Thames at Desborough Island to the south and in the north-west bisected by the M3 motorway. Shepperton is equidistant between the north Surrey towns of Chertsey and Sunbury-on-Thames.
