He provided voices for a number of English versions of Japanese anime and video game series.
He is known for voicing adult Goku, the main protagonist in the Dragon Ball series. In addition to his voice acting career, Schemmel is also an ADR Director and Script Writer for NYAV Post, where he has directed and adapted for English several Japanese anime series.
Schemmel is an avid cribbage player and a collector of rare porcelain kitten figurines.
