Queer As Folk Soundtracks

The Queer as Folk soundtracks are the official musical accompaniment to the North American television series Queer as Folk (not to be confused with the original UK program, which has its own separate soundtracks). Five CDs were released overall, each one covering one of the 5 seasons. Each soundtrack featured the more prominent remixes from the show, with some songs not making it onto the soundtracks. Each soundtrack consists solely of songs played in the various clubs during the series; the first season's soundtrack contains the opening theme used for the first 3 seasons of the show. The Fourth Season Soundtrack includes the new theme "Cue the pulse to begin" which was used for the final two seasons of the series.

Famous quotes containing the words queer and/or folk:

Men, my dear, are very queer animals, a mixture of horse- nervousness, ass-stubbornness, and camel-malice—with an angel bobbing about unexpectedly like the apple in the posset, and when they can do exactly as they please, they are very hard to drive.
Oh, England. Sick in head and sick in heart,
Sick in whole and every part,
And yet sicker thou art still
For thinking that thou art not ill.
    Thomas Henry Anonymous (1825–95)

I think that Richard Nixon will go down in history as a true folk hero, who struck a vital blow to the whole diseased concept of the revered image and gave the American virtue of irreverence and skepticism back to the people.
    William Burroughs (b. 1914)
