Professional Wrestling Throws - Guillotine Drop

Guillotine Drop

This move sees the attacking wrestler lift the opponent in a standing guillotine choke and to drop the opponent lower spine first to the mat. This eventually causes an effect to the whole spine and neck. A variation involving a standing double underhook rather than the guillotine choke also exists.

Famous quotes containing the words guillotine and/or drop:

There’s no such thing as life; or if there is,
It is faster than the weather, faster than
Any character. It is more than any scene:
Of the guillotine or of any glamorous hanging.
    Wallace Stevens (1879–1955)

If the issue doesn’t matter a whole lot, just drop it. You don’t have to win every fight ... and you will not have lost any of your authority by giving in when it doesn’t matter very much.
    Lawrence Balter (20th century)
