Production Suite was a software compilation by Apple used for digital video editing. Production Suite contained Final Cut Pro HD, DVD Studio Pro 3 and Apple Motion. It was released in August 2004, although its component applications were announced at the National Association of Broadcasters in April 2004.
In April 2005, Apple replaced Production Suite with Final Cut Studio, which includes new versions of Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro and Motion. Soundtrack Pro was also introduced to the bundle.
