Paghman

Paghman is a town in the hills near Afghanistan's capital of Kabul. It is the center of the Paghman District which has a population of about 120,000 (2002 official UNHCR est.), of which 70% are Pashtuns and 30% Tajiks. The Paghman District is situated in the western part of Kabul Province. The Paghman Gardens is the major attraction for which Paghman was once called the capital garden of Afghanistan.
