Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) is the public school district for Orange County, Florida. It is based out of the Educational Leadership Center, a seven-story building adjacent to the Amway Arena in Downtown Orlando. As of October 2009, OCPS has an enrollment of over 175,000 students, making it the 12th largest school district in the United States. The school district also employs over 19,000 instructional and classified employees, which make up more than 96% of the OCPS work force.
