Ohio State Route 795 - History

History

1937 was the year in which State Route 795 made its debut. It was routed approximately along its current alignment between U.S. Route 20 in Perrysburg and the former State Route 102 (current State Route 51) near Millbury. By 1971, the stretch of State Route 795 from just west of Interstate 75 to just west of the Interstate 280 interchange was upgraded from two lanes to a four-lane divided expressway.

Famous quotes containing the word history:

All objects, all phases of culture are alive. They have voices. They speak of their history and interrelatedness. And they are all talking at once!
    Camille Paglia (b. 1947)

He wrote in prison, not a History of the World, like Raleigh, but an American book which I think will live longer than that. I do not know of such words, uttered under such circumstances, and so copiously withal, in Roman or English or any history.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

The awareness that health is dependent upon habits that we control makes us the first generation in history that to a large extent determines its own destiny.
Jimmy Carter (James Earl Carter, Jr.)
