The Odakyū Odawara Line (小田急小田原線, Odakyū-Odawara-sen?) is the main line of Japanese private railway operator Odakyū Electric Railway. It stretches 82.5 km from Shinjuku in central Tokyo through the southwest suburbs to the city of Odawara, the gateway to Hakone in Kanagawa Prefecture. It is a heavy commuter line and is also known for its "Romancecar" limited express services. From Yoyogi-Uehara Station some trains continue onto the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line and beyond to the East Japan Railway Company Jōban Line.

Famous quotes containing the word line:
“The real dividing line between early childhood and middle childhood is not between the fifth year and the sixth yearit is more nearly when children are about seven or eight, moving on toward nine. Building the barrier at six has no psychological basis. It has come about only from the historic-economic-political fact that the age of six is when we provide schools for all.”
—James L. Hymes, Jr. (20th century)
