North Platte Regional Airport (IATA: LBF, ICAO: KLBF, FAA LID: LBF), also known as Lee Bird Field, is a public use airport located three nautical miles (6 km) east of the central business district of North Platte, a city in Lincoln County, Nebraska, United States. The airport is owned by the North Platte Airport Authority. It is served by one commercial airline with scheduled passenger service subsidized by the Essential Air Service program.
As per Federal Aviation Administration records, the airport had 10,288 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, 7,924 enplanements in 2009, and 8,391 in 2010. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a primary commercial service airport based on enplanements in 2008 (over 10,000) but it is non-primary commercial service based on annual enplanements in 2009 and 2010.
