The units name survives in the modern Territorial Army as B (North Irish Horse) Squadron, Queen's Own Yeomanry - a Squadron equipped with CVR(T) Scimitar and Spartan based at Dunmore Park Camp, Antrim Road, Belfast, with RHQ in Newcastle upon Tyne. Personnel have been deployed to Kosovo, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan.
