Famous quotes containing the words smooth and/or radio:
“A leaf that is supposed to grow is full of wrinkles and creases before it develops; if one doesn’t have the patience and wants the leaf to be as smooth as a willow leaf from the start, then there is a problem.”
—Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe (1749–1832)
“Now they can do the radio in so many languages that nobody any longer dreams of a single language, and there should not any longer be dreams of conquest because the globe is all one, anybody can hear everything and everybody can hear the same thing, so what is the use of conquering.”
—Gertrude Stein (1874–1946)
