Nago

Nago (名護市, Nago-shi?, Okinawan: Nagu) is a city located in the northern part of Okinawa Island, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. As of December 2012, the city had an estimated population of 61,659 and a population density of 288 persons per km². The total area is 210.30 km². The city was founded on August 1, 1970, and hosted the G-8 Summit in 2000.
