In Germany the academic success of the Vietnamese has been called "Das vietnamesische Wunder". ("The Vietnamese Miracle"). A study revealed that in the districts of Lichtenberg and Marzahn, Vietnamese account for only 2% of the general population, but make up 17% of the prep school population.
