Martin Bernal
Martin Gardiner Bernal (born March 1937) is a Professor Emeritus of Government and Near Eastern Studies at Cornell University. He is a scholar of modern Chinese political history. He is best known for his work Black Athena, a controversial work which re-examines the origins of Ancient Greek culture and language.
