Jimmy Carter (James Earl Carter, Jr.)

If he roars at you as you’re dyin’
You’ll know it is the Asian Lion.
    Carolyn Wells (1862–1942)

Boys and girls may sit together, but they know the rules. I must be able to see both heads and all hands at all times.
Melody Clarke, U.S. school-bus driver. As quoted in Newsweek magazine, p. 23 (December 19, 1994)

The state has no religion for the simple reason that it has each and everyone.
    Franz Grillparzer (1791–1872)

    Anne Frank (1929–1945)
