The University has five faculties offering courses at all levels:
- Faculty of Business, Economics and Law

- Faculty of Health Sciences
- The La Trobe Faculty of Health Sciences is notable for operating a school of dentistry, which is one of only two in Victoria and nine in Australia.

- Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering
