KMAX-TV (branded on-air as CW 31, Cable 12) is the CW-affiliated television station in Sacramento, California. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 21 (virtual channel 31.1 via PSIP) from a transmitter in Locke. Owned by the CBS Television Stations subsidiary of CBS Corporation, KMAX-TV is sister to CBS owned-and-operated station KOVR and both stations share studios on KOVR Drive in West Sacramento.
