Kigoma Region
Kigoma is one of the thirty administrative regions of Tanzania, in East Africa. The regional capital is Kigoma.
According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of the Kigoma Region was 1,679,109.
In September 2011, Issa Machibya replaced Joseph Simbakalia as the Regional Commissioner of the Kigoma Region.
