Khoresht

The word Khoresht (Persian: خورشت‎) is the Tehrani dialect term for Khoresh Persian: خورش‎ in other Iranian dialects, and is alternately spelled Khorisht. It is a gerund form and a derivative of the verb xordan (Persian: خوردن‎) "to eat".
