Kesab

Kesab, Kessab or Kasab (Arabic: كسب‎, Armenian: Քեսապ, Kesab) is an Armenian-populated Syrian border town located in Latakia Governorate north west of the country, on the slope of Mount Casius (Mount Aqraa, meaning the hairless or the bald). According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics, Kesab had a population of 1,754 in the 2004 census.
