Cates was a regular presenter for national radio station talkSPORT and hosted the Monday evening talk show between 7pm and 10pm alongside Jason Cundy. She has since left the station.
Cates has presented Fighting Talk on Radio 5 Live, standing in for Colin Murray. She also presented on Radio 5 Live in the summer of 2009.
