Keith Number - Keith Clusters

Keith Clusters

A Keith cluster is a related set of Keith numbers such that one is a multiple of another. For example, (14, 28), (1104, 2208), and (31331, 62662, 93993). These are possibly the only three examples of a Keith cluster.

Famous quotes containing the words keith and/or clusters:

    Our civilization has decided ... that determining the guilt or innocence of men is a thing too important to be trusted to trained men.... When it wants a library catalogued, or the solar system discovered, or any trifle of that kind, it uses up its specialists. But when it wishes anything done which is really serious, it collects twelve of the ordinary men standing round. The same thing was done, if I remember right, by the Founder of Christianity.
    —Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874–1936)

    Where we such clusters had,
    As made us nobly wild, not mad;
    And yet each verse of thine
    Outdid the meat, outdid the frolic wine.
    Robert Herrick (1591–1674)
