During his prime, Fujita was also famous for having one of the strongest chins and strongest necks in mixed martial arts. In MMA, he holds wins over Ken Shamrock, Gilbert Yvel, Mark Kerr, James Thompson and Bob Sapp. With his win over Mark Kerr, Fujita would briefly hold the title of Lineal Mixed Martial Arts Champion. His reign however would be brief, lasting mere hours, as he would lose his next match to Mark Coleman.
