Structure
The IAFL consists of eleven senior teams and two development teams. For the 2012 season, the IAFL will consist of:
- An 8-game, 16-week regular season running from February to early June
- A six-team, four-week single elimination playoff tournament beginning with the wildcard round in June and culminating in the Shamrock Bowl in July
